Thursday, Jan. 21, the Syracuse-Dunbar-Avoca Board of Education voted 5-1 to transfer children from the Unadilla attendance center to Syracuse.
    The action followed slightly more than 10 minutes of discussion. Gary Kuenning made the motion. Greg Mueller seconded. Tyler Crownover voted against the motion. The approved motion contained no provision regarding closing the building.
