Bill Haag, 75, of Otoe, died July 7, 2010 at Grand Island. He was born Oct. 14, 1934 at Mason City, Iowa, to LLoyd and Bernice (Johnson) Haag. He married Jackie Miller on Dec. 15, 1978 in Sioux Falls, S.D.
He is survived by children Michael Haag of Otoe, Russell and wife Samantha Haag of Syracuse and Lori Haag and husband Dean Adams of Mason City; 10 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren; brother Dewy and wife Sharon Haag of Mason City; sister Jeanne Haag of Mason City; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

He was preceded by brother Duane and wife Jackie.

He was a junkyard "scraper.” He was known as a workaholic who helped all who needed it. He enjoyed his three dogs and cat and enjoyed relaxing with friends. He served in the Navy from 1952-'55.
Funeral services were July 12 at Fusselman-Allen-Harvy Funeral Chapel with Rev. Paul Coen officiating.

Honorary pallbearers were Jeremy Haag, Mike Harper, Linc Dennis, Merle Sippes, Ralph Edwards and Todd Whited.

Memorials are suggested to the family's choice.
