Dale L. Schneider, 91, Lincoln, died Friday, Jan. 1, 2010. He was born Aug. 8, 1918, at DuBois, son of Ernest and Alice Schneider.
    Schneider was a U.S. Army veteran. He served in World War II. Schneider was a member of the American Legion. He was a retired mechanic in Lincoln.
    Surviving are sons and daughters-in-law, John and Sandra, and Michael and Pat, all Lincoln; daughters and sons-in-law, Jeanne and Kevin Towers, Tacoma, Wash., and Nancy and Donn Samuelson, Lincoln; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews and special friend, Bernice Lenker, Syracuse.
    He was preceded by his parents and wife, Marjorie Evelyn.
    Memorial service was Wednesday, Jan. 6, at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home. Inurnment was at Lincoln Memorial Park.
