    Scotty Lawton, 42, of Syracuse, died at his home July 23, 2010 of melanoma cancer. He was born Jan. 24, 1968 in Lincoln to Stephen J. and Kris L. (Kinnison) Lawton. He married Lori Abbott Sept. 9, 1999 at Nebraska City.

    He is survived by wife Lori Lawton of Syracuse; daughter Amanda Wilson and husband Ryan of Avoca; grandchildren Reba, Raelyn and Riggs Wilson of Avoca; mother Kris Lawton and fiancé Gary Christman of Lincoln; sisters Lana Fry and Terra Lienau, both of Palmyra; three nieces and three nephews.

    He was preceded by his father, Stephen Lawton; grandparents John and Eileen Lamb and Byron Kinnison; and cousins Chelsie Jensen, Audra Canfield and Daniel Smith.

    He was a molding technician for Lenco PMC, Inc.

    Funeral service is Wednesday, July 28, at 11 a.m. at Fusselman-Allen-Harvey Funeral Home in Syracuse with Rev. Jason Thacker officiating. Organist is Cindy Post.

VISITATION:   Tuesday, July 27th from 9 AM until 9 PM with family greeting friends from 6 PM until 8 PM at the Funeral Home.  
 

    Burial will be at Rosewood Cemetery, Palmyra.

    Memorials are suggested to the family’s choice.

    Fusselman-Allen-Harvey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
