Larry W. Radford, age 75 of Nebraska City passed away on Friday morning; Dec. 22, 2017, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Nebraska City.
Larry Wayne Radford was born on Sept. 14, 1942, in Clarinda, Iowa; the son of Galen George and Ellen Alice (Smith) Radford.  
He attended school in southwest Iowa and high school in Griswold.
He entered the U.S. Army in 1959 and served in Germany.  He was honorably discharged in 1961.
He married Linda A. Satterfield on Aug. 12, 1978, in Thornton, Colo., and they shared over 39 years of their lives together.  Larry drove truck for some 55 years - a job that he dearly loved.
He is survived by his wife Linda Radford of Nebraska City; children:  Shelan Radford of Arvada, Colo., Leann Radford of Council Bluffs, Iowa, Amy Howell of Nebraska City and Adam Radford and wife Samantha of Unadilla; 11 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, siblings: Betty Heilesen of Kirkman, Iowa, Buzz Radford of Tucson, Ariz., and Nancy Bloomquist of Porter, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters:  Mary Cheatham, Barbara Buchholz and Donna Sefron and a brother in law Ron Satterfield.
No formal funeral services will be held, but visitation with the family greeting friends will be held Saturday (12/23) from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Gude Mortuary.
