Maurice Wayne Dalton, age 75 of Davenport, passed away on Monday, Nov. 20, 2017, at the Manor Care Health Services in Davenport.
Maurice was born on Dec. 17, 1941, in Hamburg; the son of Maurice William and Beulah Evelyn (Geyer) Dalton. He attended school in Hamburg and graduated from the Hamburg High School with the class of 1959.  
After graduation he entered the United States Air Force in 1959 and proudly served his country until his honorable discharge in 1961. He worked at Monfort Meat Packing Plant in Colorado as a General Manager for many years and was a member of the American Legion.  
Maurice married Joleen E. Bartow on Aug. 21, 1997, in Greeley, Colo.
He is survived by his wife Joleen Dalton of Davenport; three children:  Brenda Schroeder of Delphos, Ohio; Marcia Reeves and husband Curtis of Windsor, Colo.; and Laci J. Dalton of Oklahoma City, Okla.; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild; brother Robert Dalton and wife Nancy of Hamburg; other family and friends.
Maurice was preceded in death by his parents.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 16, at the Rash-Gude Funeral Home in Hamburg.  Inurnment will follow the services at Mt. Olive Cemetery, southeast of Hamburg.
