Jack Jacob Bohlken, age 91 of Nebraska City died Sept. 23, 2017, at CHI St. Mary’s Hospital in Nebraska City.  
Jack was born June 5, 1926, in Talmage, the son of Jacob and Theresa (Wimberger) Bohlken.  
He married Barbara Ann Morton April 2, 1947, in Hiawatha, Kan.  
Jack graduated from the Talmage High School in 1944.  
He formerly lived in Talmage and Auburn before moving to Nebraska City in 1997.  
Jack and his wife, Barbara owned and operated Bohlken TV and Appliance in Auburn for many years and they were members of the Auburn Chamber of Commerce.  
He loved traveling and visiting family and friends.
Survivors include his wife Barbara of Nebraska City; sons, Jack A. Bohlken and wife Lily of Ooltewah, Tenn., and Michael B. Bohlken and wife Joan of Frisco, Texas; five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; brother, Robert Bohlken and wife Mary of Maryville, Mo.; many other relatives and friends.  
Jack was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Ivan Bohlken.
Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 28, at Marshall Funeral Chapel in Nebraska City with burial in Wyuka Cemetery in Nebraska City.
Visitations will be 1 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Marshall Funeral Chapel in Nebraska City with the family greeting friends from 4 to 6 p.m.
Memorials are suggested to Nebraska City Fire – E.M.S. Division.
