Diane Lynn Soriano, age 64, of Nebraska City died Sept. 22, 2017 at her home.  
She was born Sept. 4, 1953, in Nebraska City, the daughter of Norman Lavern and Waunita May (Freel) Wichman.  
Diane lived in Nebraska City her entire life and married Ezequiel “Zeke” Soriano June 11, 1978 in Nebraska City. She worked as a waitress at various restaurants in Nebraska City and also worked at Walmart and Arnie’s Bagel Plant.  
Diane loved dogs and all animals and was a very loving and caring person and had a big personality.  
Diane was known to collect all kinds of things and she loved trips to the casinos.
Survivors include her husband, Ezequiel “Zeke” Soriano of Nebraska City; son, Ezequiel “Paul” Soriano of Sidney; daughters, Sally Sheib of Hamburg, and Katherine Maras and husband Greggory of Hartford, S.D.; seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; brother, Darrell Wichman and wife Doreen; sisters, Wanda Straw and Susan Baker, all of Nebraska City; sisters in law, Lupe Davis of Rockport, Mo., and Pat Sumner of Lincoln; brothers in law, Tony Soriano and wife Janice of Nebraska City, Frankie Soriano and wife Karlene of Falls City, and Demetro Soriano of Austin, Texas; many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son in law, Roger Sheib; daughter in law, Lois Soriano; niece, Jennifer Baker; brothers in law, Phillip Baker and Harry Straw; sister in law, Connie Robinson.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 25, at Marshall Funeral Chapel in Nebraska City with burial in Wyuka Cemetery in Nebraska City. Visitations will be 1 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home with the family greeting friends from 5 to 7 p.m.
