District Judge Randall Rehmeier Monday entered an order declaring the suspect in a Syracuse robbery competent to stand trial.

A May 5 trial date is set for Bruce A. Leazer, 29, who is charged with entering the Town & Country Pharmacy and demanding drugs at gunpoint on Oct. 10.

Monday’s ruling came after Leazer was examined by Dr. Y. Scott Moore of Lincoln. The report was not available to the media, but Judge Rehmeier said it concludes that Leazer is competent to stand trial.
