School District #27 will hold a special public hearing on the future of the Unadilla Elementary building on Jan. 4 at 6 p.m. in the Syracuse Elementary auditorium.  Possible options to be discussed include leaving things the same (4th and 6th grades go to the middle school), keeping grades 1-3 but having only 1 teacher and no special educators, closing the building and moving the staff and students to Syracuse, and moving all grades to Syracuse and moving the preschool to Unadilla. The hearing will be held to receive public comment on the issue.
