Syracuse-Dunbar-Avoca is one of a number of schools throughout the state to receive economic stimulus funds.  S-D-A has been allocated $43,922, with the actual amount to be affected by state-level adjustments to Federal Title I allocations. 
Senator Ben Nelson announced April 2 that an infusion of $47.2 million from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 is now directly available to school districts across Nebraska to boost teacher training, childhood education, online learning and address student academic achievement challenges.  These funds are separate from other American Recovery and Reinvestment Act dollars currently being debated in the Nebraska Legislature.
