SDA High School will be represented by seven students at the National History Day Competition in Washington D.C.  The two teams competed first at Peru State College, then at the State Competition at Nebraska Wesleyan.

In Group Performance - Senior Category, the “Potsdam Boys” won first place out of six teams in order to advance.  The team, made up of Trevor Brinkman, Brendon Lyon, Jacob Kruse, Grant Hallstrom, and Riley Teten, did a performance on the Potsdam Conference and played world leaders in World War II.

Natalie Thies and Danielle Schutz won first place out of 11 teams in the Group Exhibit- Senior Category.  Their presentation was an exhibit on Women Air Force Service Pilots in World War II.

Both teams are excited about the opportunity to compete at the national level June 10-14.
