The Good Samaritan Society-Linden View is celebrating National Assisted Living Week between Sept. 10 and 17, and invites members of the community to join in.
This year’s theme, “Family is Forever,” calls attention to the many ways that the residents keep connected to their families and the community and how important it is.
“This special week provides an opportunity for families and the community to show residents of our assisted living center and their caregivers how much they are loved and valued,” Administrator Dianna Epp says.
There will be fun activities every day for the residents and for the community.
On Sunday, Sept. 10 at 2:15 p.m., Tim Javorsky will provide live entertainment. Ice Cream Sundaes will be available from 3 to 4 p.m. with all the toppings for the residents, family and the community.  Please come join us.
On Monday, Sept. 11, at 10 a.m., the residents will participate in a Balloon Lift Off.  Donuts and beverages will be served.
At 2 p.m., Homeward Bound will provide live entertainment. Special  refreshments will be served.  
Residents and their families will enjoy a Family BBQ on Monday evening.
On Tuesday, Sept. 12,  at 9:30 a.m. the residents will host their weekly Community Coffee.
At 2 p.m., everyone will enjoy a game of bingo with special refreshments to follow.
On Wednesday, Sept. 13, and Thursday, Sept. 14, coffee and special desserts will be served at 2:30 p.m.
On Friday, Sept. 15, at 2 p.m., Paul Ramp will provide live entertainment Special desserts will follow.
On Saturday,  Sept. 16,  coffee and special refreshments will be served at 2:30 p.m.
On Sunday, Sept. 17, Houston Solutions will provide live entertainment at 2 p.m., followed by special refreshments.
