The new Syracuse Welcome Signs were installed at the north and south ends of town June 27.  The Syracuse Area Economic Development Corporation was responsible for the purchase of the signs. SAEDC President Carolyn Gigstad said, “They have been working on these signs since 2004, so this has been a long time coming. As President of SAEDC, I would also like to thank Randy Sump for so generously leasing the land to the City and to the City Council, Mayor and employees for helping make all of this possible. I hope you all like them and I hope that they will make a favorable impression on visitors and people passing through our great community.”
